Time to get green: United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire Friends and Supporters, UCPIE has partnered with landfill-free recycler B.C.S. Recycling Specialists to implement the “Recycle for United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire” program, in which we can earn money for recycling Inkjet Cartridges, Cell Phones, Digital Cameras, iPods, PDAs and Laptops. Currently, Americans dispose of at least 2 million tons of electronic products each year, and many items contain chemicals that are hazardous to the environment if not disposed of properly. B.C.S. Recycling Specialists is an award winning 100% landfill-free recycling company that has been working with many large businesses and non-profits since 1988 to recycle hazardous electronic waste. By collecting inkjet cartridges, cell phones, digital cameras, iPods and PDAs in an “Recycle for Recycle for United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire” collection box, we can offer a free and convenient recycling service to our community and earn money for our organization at the same time! Please help us by bringing your old e-waste items to the recycling collection boxes located throughout Coachella Valley. Please contact United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire at (760) 321-8184 with any questions or contact B.C.S. directly with questions or to order boxes at www.scrapdr.com or toll free 1-888-286-7188. Please remember to tell them that you are with Recycle for United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire and your area code & phone number.
DID YOU KNOW? Every year over 300 million inkjet cartridges are thrown away. In terms of weight, that is equivalent to over 30, 500 African Elephants! |
