United Cerebral Palsy Inland Empire

United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire, our volunteers, along with generous Foundations, corporate and individual sponsors strive each year to provide family oriented events for our clients, their families and friends.  Participants and volunteers all work together, providing another venue for support to families of youth with disabilities,

Whether to spend quality family fun time together, or just take a break from the daily grind, these events always offer a sense of community.

Easter:

Sponsored by UCPIE and Kohl’s, the 2009 Easter EGGStravanganza was held on March 28th at Whitewater Park in Rancho Mirage.  Kohl’s A-Team volunteers were on hand to help with the fun festivities and everyone attending enjoyed the beautiful day that began with a visit from the Easter Bunny and ended with a traditional Easter Egg Hunt.  Families also enjoyed participating in arts & crafts tables, temporary tattooing, and photographs with the Easter Bunny. Baseball and Frisbees were tossed about and a water balloon tossing contest helped to cool off participants in the warm afternoon sunshine.  Our special thanks to Kohl’s and the La Quinta A-Team volunteers for making this a really fun community picnic!
